On September 5 of every year, the teacher
and students will celebrate teacher’s day. The teacher’s day celebration is to
appreciate and thank teachers. It is celebrated by all teachers around the
world and it is an honour occasion. Our IEEE student branch also celebrated
this event. Our event started around 11:45 a.m.
Most of the members came to celebrate the
event. IEEE SB Co-Ordinator Prof.Darwin
Jose Raju, IEEE SB Councellor Prof.John Moses, IEEE WIE faculty advisor
Mrs.Subitha and IEEE ED-SOC faculty advisor Prof.Seldev Christopher were
invited for the celebration who attended wholeheartedly.
An IEEE member gave a short introduction
about teacher’s day, which was inspiring and another shared her experience with
teachers. Our professors showed us the way to achieve success in our life. The
professors were presented with small gift and at the end there was a cake
cutting by our professors. Chocolates were distributed with motivational words
for each student. Every one who participated in the event joined with full enthusiasm.
Finally the celebration was over at 12:30 p.m.
